New Year, New Name, Same Goal

It’s been a minute since you’ve heard from me – almost three months actually! It’s been a crazy, busy, and wonderful couple of months for me.

At the conclusion of the 2022 season, I was worn to the bone and torn apart from an injury. I elected to sit out of Q-School, get rested, get healthy, and get married!

In November, I put the clubs in the closet for a little while – not by choice, but by need. In the months away from the game, I received treatment on my shoulder with hopes of heading into the 2023 season healthy and free.

In December, I tied the knot with my college sweetheart and best friend Trevor! Married life has been amazing and a whole new adventure. I’m a lucky girl to have a strong and supportive caddie for life.

In January, we returned from our honeymoon and stepped back into normal life as Mr. and Mrs. Nearly two months removed from my treatment, I returned to training feeling healthy and happy to get back to what I know. Amidst taking baby steps back into the game, I became an aunt! My oldest sister brought the first grandchild of our family into the world on January 21 – a birthday buddy for my husband too!

In February, we headed down to Florida to crank the heat up on my training. Over the last month, I’ve been hitting it hard getting ready for the season starting at the end of this week. It’s been a new experience for me learning to monitor my health as I strive to improve my game. I’ve learned many lessons from this injury journey that I’m excited to share with all of you in the months ahead.

In 2023, I’ll continue my quest for the LPGA Tour. I’ll share my experiences and the lessons I’ve learned along the way on my blog, “Words on the Walk”. The post will be at a lower frequency as I’ll be focusing on golf and sharing my journey on other channels as well.

Last year, I wrote 40+ pieces on LPGA.com. You’ll find some nuggets from me throughout the year on there too.

I will also be sharing my words on Global Golf Post Women. GGP Women will be telling the stories of women’s golf including competitors, innovators, philanthropists and much more. You can try it out here

I’m eager and excited for the season to get going! You can stay more up-to-date on where I am and what I’m doing through my social channels – Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. I’ll continue to update my schedule on my website. I hope to see some of you out on the links this year and look forward to bringing you along on this journey with me.

Thank you for your continued support!

Signing off for the very first time as,

Brynn Walker Collins 😉
